We’re pleased to announce a major milestone in the development of HackGATE: our ethical hacking control and monitoring solution is now available in an on-premise version.
From the early stages of HackGATE’s development, we followed a clear principle: everything must work just as well in the on-premise version as it does in the cloud. When we launched HackGATE on our cloud infrastructure, we already anticipated that many enterprises and government organizations would require an on-premise deployment to ensure their penetration testing data remains within their own infrastructure.
With this release, HackGATE is now available to those organizations as well.

HackGATE was designed to bring clarity and structure to penetration testing. In many cases, internal security teams face challenges in tracking the progress, depth, and quality of ethical hacking engagements. HackGATE addresses this by providing a dedicated environment where penetration tests can be overseen in real time, while also supporting post-engagement evaluation of effectiveness and coverage.
The platform enables organizations to monitor ethical hacker activity as it happens, maintain detailed records of testing actions and assess the comprehensiveness of each engagement once completed. It also helps ensure that expectations, scope, and deliverables remain aligned throughout the entire engagement.
The new on-premise version of HackGATE is tailored for organizations that need to retain full control over their data. Whether due to regulatory requirements, internal policies or cybersecurity strategies, many enterprises prefer to keep sensitive information within their own infrastructure. HackGATE On-Premise makes this possible without compromising on functionality or visibility.
HackGATE On-Premise is secure, easy to deploy, and backed by our expert support team. It integrates seamlessly into existing workflows and provides the same powerful capabilities as our cloud version and ow with the added benefit of complete data sovereignty.
HackGATE was created to help organizations measure the quality and comprehensiveness of penetration tests. By offering real-time insights and structured oversight, it empowers security leaders to make informed decisions and ensure that ethical hacking projects deliver meaningful results.
Balázs Pozner, CEO and founder of Hackrate, shared his thoughts on this milestone:
“HackGATE was created to bring visibility and accountability to penetration testing. With the on-premise version, we’re making that vision accessible to enterprises that need full control over their data.”
If you believe in visibility and accountability in penetration testing, but haven’t adopted HackGATE because of cloud concerns, this is your moment.
